Education Committee
The Education Committee manages the relationship between leaders and principals of congregational schools on the one hand and the Catholic Education Commission including its committees and the three metropolitan Catholic Education Offices through The Diocesan Directors. On behalf of CLRI(NSW) the Education Committee meets 4 times per year with the CEC and recommends representatives and nominees for appointment to CEC committees. This committee receives reports from CEC representatives/nominees and meets with representatives once a year for general discussion. Twice a year, The Education Committee meets with the Diocesan Directors of the metropolitan Catholic Education Offices to discuss issues relating to congregational schools vis-s-vis the CEOs and to congregational personnel in systemic schools. The committee meets six times per year at the Rosebery office and holds one seminar day each year for the principals of congregational schools, focussing on the personal spiritual and professional development of leaders.
